The frame is constructed of wrought iron, making the lamp very strong and durable; It's powder coated in order to ensure the longevity of its color. The wooden portion of the base is made from a fruit tree called santol. the raw wood is gray, but turns into a reddish-brown color when dried. It is fairly hard, close-grained, and polishes easily. The santol is a fast growing tree and grows up to 150 feet tall. Fossilized cocoa leaf lampshade. 24in tall x 12in diameter and uses 1 x 40W medium base bulb or CFL bulb.
